Tinnitus is the medical term for "ringing in the ears," although, some people hear hissing, chirping or clicking sounds.  For some people, tinnitus is just a nuisance. For others, it is a life-altering condition. Tinnitus can be caused by exposure to loud noise,head trauma, sinus and ear infections, &certain medications.
