Clubfoot or "talipes equinovarus" is a condition in which the foot turns inward and points down. Clubfeet occurs in approximately 1 in every 750 babies. The majority of clubfeet result from abnormal development of the muscles, tendons and bones while the baby is forming in the uterus.
